Valentine
I’m finally in the mood to code, after such a long time. I didn’t want to waste this sudden inspiration, so I just went ahead and made a new layout.
In case it wasn’t obvious already, a new love-themed layout is up. It’s one of my more minimalistic layouts, in the sense that the most detailed part of it is the extremely simple header, which I love. I remember seeing something similar before, and, though I don’t really remember exactly what it was or who made it, it was where I basically got the idea for the heart-shaped letters.
I don’t have too much to say about this layout, really. I’m planning to make a few other layouts over the next couple of weeks, including a new layout for my themes site and a few new layouts to put in my themes site (since it hasn’t been updated in about half a year).
The only font used to create this layout was Bell MT and, as with most of the layouts I design, it was done in a span of 3 days, with today being the 3rd.
I love the layout! :D

Oh, I dislike Kesha too. Her songs are creepy and she can’t sing.

Aw, this layout is so sweet! I agree; the simpleness actually makes the layout more beautiful. The header is really cute. :D

I saw this when you tweeted it! And gosh, it’s simplistic but as with all your layouts I love this one, a lot. :) The colours are fantastic and it’s perfect for Valentine’s day. I’ll admit that the idea of themed layouts can be a little cliche but I like seeing what people come up with.
I used Bell MT on my photoblog, just for the header image. I couldn’t find a better serif font!

I usually like simplistic layouts as they are easy to navigate etc, but this one is too plain for my taste. You should add a background, something simple like a parchment effect would be perfect. Or you can tell me to mind my own business and take my constructive criticism elsewhere lol :p
ClarisseI can see what you’re talking about. It’s like half the time I feel like this layout is okay, and the other half I feel like it’s much too plain. I’m sure if I tried to do something like that, it might end up looking too messy instead. :/ It usually does, haha.
