Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet
I thought I’d be bored of trick-or-treating by the time I reached 13, but, here I am, 15 years old and still celebrating Halloween like a little kid – not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I actually went trick-or-treating twice this year. The first time was in my own village though it was a huge disappointment. Maybe half the village was out of town, and I ended up getting about a fourth of the amount of candy I usually get.
The second time was in my friend’s village. As soon as I had finished passing through all the houses in my village (which took about 15 minutes, since barely any houses gave away candy in our already microscopic village), I immediately got in the car and headed to my friend’s house for what had been my first sleepover in over a year.
Like in any normal sleepover, naturally, we barely slept. We stayed up ’til 2 watching movies – namely, Mean Girls, Kakashi and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Though it only reminded me how much I miss the old Lindsay Lohan and how much I hate scary movies (this one was more boring than scary), being with my friends made the whole experience somewhat enjoyable. I spent like 2 hours of our movie marathon glued to my friend’s iPad though, playing Bookworm. I reached rank 28, though I’m not exactly sure how that happened.
The next day was for trick-or-treating. My costume, to be honest, was pretty pathetic. It was basically just a headband with devil horns. All that mattered to me was the candy, though I’ll probably work a bit harder on my costume next year. I saw some pretty awesome costumes that day though. We saw the Ghostbusters, Spongebob, and we even found Waldo!
Overall it was a fun Halloween, and probably the most productive days of this entire sembreak for me; honestly, I just wasted most of it either asleep or half-asleep. I guess all the schoolwork from a few weeks ago has left me so worn out that even this short vacation the school had given us had to be affected. Tomorrow, I return to school, and I hope it’s gonna be much less stressful than it had been before. Wish me luck!
Such a cute layout! Don’t worry, I’m 16 and I went trick or treating as Snooki :P

There’s nothing wrong with having fun like a you’re a little kid again. :) I actually find it fun. :D
It’s hard for me to ignore it because it happens when i’m watching scary movies or thinking about something scary, always when I’m home alone.
Paranormal Activity is boring. Both 1 & 2.Comment by Isi • November 4, 2010 • 6:15 am
Aww I’m glad you enjoyed the Halloween this year. We don’t celebrate Halloween here so there’s no trick-o-treating going on here. How does it work, really? Do you just put on your costume and then go around knocking on people’s doors? :D
Damn, Bookworm. :p I love that game. I used to play it all the time but when I found out it was the unregistered version and I will have to register to continue playing it, I lost interest in that game. Blergh.

Ah best of luck with returning to school! I am looking forward to getting the hell out of university for the year. It’s been so stressful. Hopefully school isn’t so bad when you get back. :)
Aww, that’s a shame your costume wasn’t that amazing but I’m sure you will put more effort in next time. At least people were nice enough to give you candy. As you know, we don’t celebrate Halloween here, so we don’t get any candy. My friend tried going trick-or-treating once, and I think she was around 15 as well. People laughed her off because they weren’t prepared for kids knocking on their doors!
I haven’t had a sleepover in a really long time. I think I’ve only been to one in my life, actually. :S I know I’ve never had one at my place because my parents don’t really like friends sleeping over. :/
I definitely don’t flaunt my blog but I certainly don’t mind people looking at it, so if they ask, I don’t mind showing it to them. I feel passionate about my websites too and I don’t think anyone sees being geeky as being a bad thing – at least not around here. But I hear about it all the time online. :S

I didn’t go trick-or-treating on Halloween. I mostly watched my favorite horror movies or horror movies that I’ve never seen. I was supposed to go trick-or-treating at the mall with my friends, but I forgot. No one is ever too old to receive candy on Halloween.

My friends and I watched Mean Girls whenever we have a sleepover too. Haha it’s such a great movie for sleepover, don’t you think? It’s one of the chic flick movies that I’ll never get tired of.
