Philippine Weather More Messed Up Than Usual

As most of you probably know, here in the Philippines, we only have two seasons: wet and dry. It may sound a bit boring, but, believe me, it isn’t. When it’s dry, it’s really dry and really hot. As in, so-hot-you’re-sitting-by-the-aircon-all-day-to-avoid-dehydration hot. So, naturally, when it’s wet…it’s really wet.

It’s the middle of summer, so you’d think that we wouldn’t have to deal with all the wet. Unfortunately, the wet season had to come early. Well, at least I won’t have to deal with all the heat anymore, right? Wrong.

For days, the weather’s been like this: unbearably sunny in the morning and early afternoon, and extremely loud and stormy at night. Can’t the sky just make up it’s mind already and settle with one type of weather? They’re already such a hassle to deal with separately.

I definitely know what the weather is like over there because that’s what we have here as well (we’re only 2-3 flight hours away from each other) XD

The weather can be really tricky. One moment it’s sunny and the next thing you know, it can be a heavy downpour. This situation can be especially irritating when you need to hang out the clothes to dry. Bleh.

It IS really a hassle to drive 10miles to pick up a parcel. But people don’t generally have any other choice. :/

So true, but I’m loving the coldness the storm gives seriously :)) Maybe because I was too tired of experiencing the hotness of summer days ;)

I know. Right?
I sure am going to miss the weather here in the Philippines.

I don’t know how I would deal if I had to decide between two different weather options. Here and Florida we get a mixture of wet, humid (or is this the same thing as wet) and well… sunny + breezy? I don’t really know. Sometimes it’s a combination of two or even all three! Yes, it can be sunny, breezy, super freaking hot and raining at the same time. I didn’t know it was possible before I moved down here. I wish there was one content weather pattern instead of having to predict it later one; doesn’t help that the news forecast can be inaccurate sometimes too.

I guess maybe it’s the natural human instinct that make us say that.
We have all 4 seasons over here and summer is soo awful!! It’s fun to play and all but it gets so hot sometimes that it’s too hot to go outside and same goes for winter, it’s too cold to go outside lol.

[...] I’m even going to miss the heat that I’d just recently been complaining and ranting about. [...]
