Pets? Nah.

I’ve never been an animal person. I just automatically get so uncomfortable around animals, for some reason. When I’m in my friends’ houses, and they suddenly bring out their dogs, you’d see me slowly moving farther and farther away. I’m not scared, of course, but I just feel really weird around animals.

I actually had a dog once, but it was barely my dog; it’s not like I ever played with her. Besides, she was a really older dog. Actually, she was older than me. She died a few years ago because of her old age, but she lived a very long life (and died a virgin).

Besides that one dog, the only other pets I ever had were fish and fortune lobsters. Fish barely count as pets, and I wasn’t even the one who fed them. They just die and get replaced over and over again. The fortune lobsters didn’t do much either. They were dead for a month, and I didn’t even know.

I must seem so heartless right now.

We currently use AT&T. The weird thing is that this stuff only happens to my computer. All the computers in my house are fine but mine just has bad luck.
Thanks. :D Photoshop couldn’t hold me back lol

I’m not a fan of animals either. Some of them give me bad vibes lol. Dogs are not my friends either lol. If i was forced to get a pet, it would a parrot. It talks lol.

Haha lol. all your fishes died. I wouldn’t be able to handle a fish because I have to feed them multiply times day. I would get one of those automatic fish feeders or something.

It’s emotional abuse. My dad told me that I shouldn’t think about what my mom said. It was really inconsiderate of my mom to complain about my dad right in front of me.

I feel awkward around animals at first when I’m alone, but after a while I get used to them. If I’m with my friends, I immediately greet the animals. I’m always outgoing and will even talk to strangers if I’m with my friends, but if I’m alone, I get a bit shy.

I used to have A LOT of fish. Most of them died.

I’m not very good around animals either :/ I mean I’m not scared of them but when it comes to handling them I don’t know what to do. I’m just not much of an animal person…

The hospital is grim D: The last time I went there was when I was six and needed ear drops. :P

Your earrings got stuck? That must’ve been pretty painful. Owuuuuh. I don’t really know what the lumps are either :P

Take care! xx

Haha, don’t call yourself heartless. If you’re heartless, I’d be something worse than that. You had a dog, I had none. I love pets, but never had the luck to have a proper pet. I had fish before. But since you can’t consider them as ‘pets’, they were just my animal friends. xD I used to feed them, and the cleaning job was done by my dad.

But the sad part was, that the fish died. I overfed it. I used to get them replaced, but then I decided not to because I thought I’m a bad mistress. I had killed about 3 fishes. I didn’t want to commit another murder so I dropped the idea of having fishes in my house. Sad story yeah.

Oh yes, I asked my dad if I could have a dog when I’m about 20 years old or after I finish my studies and he agreed! I’m so excited. Having a pet is a huge responsibility yeah, it’s like you have another member in your family.

I love animals, but when I was younger if someone brought out their dog and it started sniffing me, I’d start crying. Also, I don’t know why but they always sniff my crotch area… it gets annoying.

Haha, I got my laptop for only $500 and my itouch for $300. :P I probably couldn’t have waited for college, the family computer is sooo slow and old.

My mom is back to talking normally with my dad. The atmosphere is good again, but I know she’s gonna start another argument later.

Whoa. So many pets. I don’t know how your friend can handle all of that.

When I was little I used to have lots of pets, some goldfish, a turtle, four albino bunnies, a MONKEY (my Thai aunt had a monkey farm), a lamb, a dog and a cat. But they all died. The monkey was kidnapped though.

My neighbour had a pony, a donkey and a couple of sheeps, but they trampled me, so I stayed away.

I don’t have pets anymore because I don’t have time to take care of any, but if I did, I want a kitten, or an exotic fish – a LIONFISH. I really hate dogs.

Hey! I kinda have an awkward relation with animals too. I’m not totally afraid of dogs, I can be around some, but if I see they are getting aggressive or non stop growling I will actually just move away.. or run for my life lol o.o

I’ve got around 10-12 fishes and I couldn’t give a damn about them, they don’t actually do anything. In my childhood I’ve had rabbits and birds and stuff but I was actually ‘not friendly’ with them and just took no notice whatsoever.

I also get kind of jealous cause everyone has kittens and cats but then again I don’t like them so I guess I’m fine :D

Oh gosh, even if you do seem heartless I’m sure you aren’t! Some people aren’t “pet people” and some people only like certain animals as pets. For starters, my boyfriend’s a dog person and hates cats. My other friend is a total cat person and loves cats to death.

I’ve had many different pets in my life, including dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs. Sadly, I didn’t get close enough to them to really love them – we had to give them away most of the time. I did feel broken, though.

I still think fish count as pets. It depends on some people.

I don’t feel weird around animals or anything, though when someone shows me their pet I get insecure, knowing the pet is theirs, and is probably really close to them. It’s like meeting a new person, I guess.

My mum’s definitely an influence on me. She’s a hoarder and is sentimental like me, I guess it rubbed off. :P

I love notebooks! I don’t really write in them though, most of them are too nice to write in and I can’t bring myself to do it! I have old diaries though, taking a look at my entries makes me feel weird… it’s weird looking through what was going on in my head all those years ago. I’m more of a typer now and everything is digital for me.

I had an mp3 player… which did alright but I had to change songs every week because there wasn’t much space at all! I’m happy with my iPhone – 32GB – even though all my music doesn’t fit on it, still. LOL.

Oh how cool is that? You were thinking about making a post on the same topic? Woooow xD Animals are a hot topic nowadays aren’t they?

Exactly. That was one of the points I was trying to express through my blog. Man has to come to the understanding that he’s not the only thing on this planet who has the right to lead a safe, peaceful and satisfying life. But that understanding will depend on the maturity of the person of course. Like as if I’m mature enough, haha.

Deff, tigers and lions sound all posh baha. Insects of course. I’m thankful that I wasn’t born as an ant or a spider. I’m happy being a human. :)

I love animals, I prefer them over humans. They’re the only innocent creatures on this planet. At least you don’t own any animals right now, and don’t care for them, unlike at least one other person who commented here. Honestly, if you don’t like animals you shouldn’t own one and continue to get more.
