I Love Little Kids

The things they say just seem so interesting to me. So many times I wondered what could be going on in their tiny heads. I talk to my little brother a lot. Sometimes, I talk to my younger cousins. Some of the things they say can be strange, annoying or confusing – either way, I still get intrigued by the way they think and see things.

Their thoughts can be pretty amusing.

There was this one time when my cousin and I were playing with this candle. We weren’t doing anything dangerous; we were just blowing the flame a bit. We were watching it and talking about how the “fire got big and exploded”, as my little cousin had said. After that, he started to say something along these lines, “If I butterfly went to the fire then it will be fired and die. It will go on the table, the table will be fired. The fire on the table will go on the grass, and the grass will be fired, then the whole world will be fired and EXPLODE!” Excuse the wrong grammar (fired, haha). Though I got worried about what might have influenced him to think about those kinds of things, I couldn’t help but laugh when he said that. Who knew destruction could sound so cute?

Very recently, my little brother got addicted to watching Spongebob Squarepants. This one time while he was watching, he went to me and said, “Patrick is only a star, and Spongebob is only a cheese!” I laughed and thought I had convinced him that Spongebob was a sponge and not “a cheese”. But, the next day, he told me, “Spongebob is a sponge AND a cheese!” Hopefully, now, he knows that Spongebob is full sponge and not a piece of solid milk.

There was also a time that he started getting addicted to The Penguins of Madagascar (yes, I know he has been watching a lot of T.V.; I do not support this). I recall him connecting almost everything he saw to the penguins. He saw this painting with these small birds on them and said, “They’re like the penguins!” There were these small black and white things too, and when he saw them, he shouted, “They look like the penguins!” He saw a clock and screamed, “There’s a number 4! It’s 4 like the penguins! There are 4 penguins!” At that point, I was speechless. I had nothing more to say about his newfound addiction.

Little kids can be so cute. Most of the things they say just make me laugh, and I love it when they make me laugh, but I do enjoy having somewhat normal conversations with my little brother. I like explaining things to him, and I like it when he explains things to me. Sometimes, he says one of his many amusing statements, and, sometimes, he surprises me with how much he knows. I think I’m going to spend a lot more time with him now.

“Patrick is only a star, and Spongebob is only a cheese!” Made me lol.
That is freakin’ adorable. Kids are fun.

My younger brother and I used to fight a lot. Our age gap is about 4 years and now that we’re a lot older, we actually have conversations about “life”, I guess you could say. We still have really silly ideas and things that we share. I am really happy that we aren’t still fighting like when we were younger.

I think some little children are really cute though. The way they think is really quite adorable. I think it’s so cute how your cousin was saying “fired”… oh, very, very cute.

It’s funny what impressions kids get of the characters they encounter on television, and it’s so funny how they associate things with what they already know. I can’t recall an example right now, though. D:

There was this little girl at my work centre who was doing a “number board” – where you just put the magnetic numbers where they belong on the board – and she was so amused that there were pieces missing and there were pieces that were doubles. The things were old, that’s why the pieces were all muddled.

Thanks! <3 I'll have to have another look for the charms, haha. I'm surprised they weren't at the craft shops I went to. O_O

I hate putting my phone on silent because sometimes I forget to turn it off silent mode. I also never turn my phone off, and I just keep it on standby.

Ugh, I hate group projects where you're left with last-minute stuff. What annoys me is when I am the project designer, so all the work has to be done on the writing and content, then I have to do the design in the end. If the other members take forever to pull it together, I am not left with much time. I am glad you got a perfect score though – at least you know your hard work paid off, I guess? :)

My brother is the one who needs to be woken up! He can't get up in the mornings and just sleeps through his alarm. My mum, dad and I all need to shout at him to wake up!

Haha, thanks! :) I had another 365 project to put a quote on a canvas and decorate it… but it was too much work.

I just mention a few bands when someone asks me what kind of music I like. Or I just say, "rock, metal and old stuff". It's hard to generalise; it's so much easier to specify! :P

That's great! :D I've never been to a concert before. :( I really want to go to one, though. My mum might not let me; I knew she wouldn't when I was younger… but maybe now that I'm older it'll be okay. It's just that the bands I like are so rare and they don't really tour or anything. xD

What will simon be doing now that he is not in American idol anymore?

I love The Penguins of Madagascar!!! I just cannot help but love that show lol. I’ve seen every episode!!

Kids are adorable. I babysit my nephew a lot. :D He is soo adorable, he is only 4months old and he got everyone wrapped around his fingers. I was watching spongebob yesterday and his eyes was just glued on it. I didn’t know if he understood it or not but he was watching that tv lol.

I still have summer assignments to do. :(
AP Comparative Govt — summarize two articles for 5 countries, including the EU
Junior Gifted Language Arts — Read The Great Gatsby because there’s a test on it the second day of school; read a book from the reading list and write a journal
AP World History — Read Old World Encounters because of the test on the first day; read another book and write a dialectal journal with a minimum of 10 pages; watch two movies and write movie reviews of how they relate to world history
-_______-

No one did that this year. And in middle school the administration didn’t allow it.

Thanks. :D It was my first time doing typography. Maybe I should write a tutorial. I need to make more.

Little kids can be so adorable. Yesterday I was at a crafts store and saw a mother and her toddler at the cashier. The kid grabbed the bag and wanted to carry it. :D He was so cute.

When you’re a little kid and talk with another little kid, it’s like you have your own language because adults have no clue what you’re talking about. But when you grow up, you lose that language.

My brother and I used to hit each other; it was pretty terrible! I still feel guilty about the time I scratched him really hard and left marks. D: I am glad we get on well now. He gets really moody easily though; must be the puberty. XD

Sometimes my brother doesn’t know things or is so amazed by little things, then I tell him it’s been around for a while and he’s disappointed. XD Usually with music or things online, because I explore more than he does.

My mum isn’t really into craft but sometimes she buys jewellery knowing that she can modify it if she doesn’t quite like the style. :P

I hate group work as well for that reason. It’s because no one seems to cooperate or do their thing. Sadly I have a lot of group work in my current university course, seeing as I do communication.

Well one day we must go to a concert and make it great! :D People see me as the kind of person to go to concerts but they don’t believe that I haven’t been to one yet. :P

Exactly. They said, “Oh, just take a little time during your summer to do these assignments.” It’s not “a little.”

“Baiko baiko” sounds very interesting.

I had to order books from Barnes&Nobles because of it. I’m probably not going to start until July.

It could mean something so intelligent, or something so simple and cute. :D

You’re so lucky.

“Goo Goo Ga Ga” sounds like a song, when you think about it.

I hate it when there’s group work, because everyone will get the same grade, especially if one single person messes up. I also hate it when I’m in a group, and the people are lazy and dump all of the work on me.

Me, too. But only one teacher gave out group member assessments, and I don’t have her anymore.
