A Letter To My Mom

Hi, Mom. :) Happy Mothers’ Day! I just wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve done for me; thank you for helping me with my problems, being so supportive with all of my decisions and making me feel so loved. :) You’re just such an awesome mom! I’m not even the only one that says that; I know a lot of people who would say you’re awesome. Even some of my friends say things like, “Your mom’s awesome!”, “Your mom’s so cool!” and “Your mom ROCKS MY SOCKS!”. :)) You’d know that; a few of them did say it to you themselves. I just feel so fortunate to have a mother like you. :) You seem to understand everything I’m going through so well. You give the best advice. We talk all the time, and we talk about everything. I’m just so glad we got to become this close. I know that a mother-daughter relationship like ours is pretty rare, so I’m not going to take it for granted. :) I love you, mom. :)

To my only daughter Clarisse,
Thank you for your greeting and for all your kind words. I am so overwhelmed and speechless (for once)! We’ve been through a lot and even with the best of intentions, I’ve made my share of mistakes and I’m truly sorry for that. Yes, I am truly grateful that we are “close” and just like you, I don’t ever want to take it for granted.
You have given me so much joy these past 14+ years and I am looking forward to knowing you even more for decades to come. When I see you, I know that I must have done something right in this life, because you have turned out to be so much more than the daughter I ever expected to have. I am soooo proud to be your mother! Please take care and always remember that I love you very much! :) MOM

Thank you so much for looking at my site (haha), reading this, and replying. :) I’m sure I’ve made A LOT of mistakes which probably gave you a really hard time in the past; you have no idea how much I regret making those mistakes. Thank you; and I am so proud to be your daughter. :D I love you too, mom. :) Again, happy mothers’ day! :)

How did you come up with clar.me anyways?

Haha I’m really lazy too; I can sleep all day and be on the computer all night. I have to change those habits however since college is starting soon. o_O I don’t want to… growing up sounds so boring. It’s pretty much an endless cycle; we live to go to school, then work, then die. Yawn.

It’s only 12:19PM right now; my mom is still sleeping actually. :P We’ve never really been into celebrating small holidays like Mother’s Day. As my mom says, “Everyday should be Mother’s Day! You shouldn’t spend ONE day celebrating the person that went through several hours of labor to have you.” XD

Thanks so cute. :3 Haha I love how your mom responded to your blog. My mom doesn’t know about my site and frankly, I hope she never does… I’m scared she’ll tell me to delete it, or something.
