American Idol Season 9: Top 6

This week, the contestants all sang Shania Twain songs. I’m not exactly a country music, but, in my opinion, they all generally did a good job.

Lee Dewyze did an amazing job, as usual. He’s so much more confident now than he was before.

I was worried about Michael Lynche at first; he’s definitely not a country singer. When Big Mike sang though, the song didn’t sound country at all. He made it more RnB. He did a really good job.

Casey James did sing really well too. This performance was one of the few he’s had where he was singer playing the guitar and not a guitarist singing. He could’ve opened his eyes a bit more though; they were only actually open at the beginning and the ending.

This is actually a grammatically correct sentence. It may be strange, but it’s true. After I found out about this, I spent about half an hour of thought and research, trying to understand it. I was bored.

This sentence is possible because buffalo is an adjective, a noun and a verb.

Buffalo: an adjective used to state that something is of the city of Buffalo, New York
buffalo: a noun referring to a type of bison
buffalo: a verb meaning to bully or intimidate

And since buffalo is also the plural form of the noun buffalo, it is possible for this sentence to be grammatically correct. If I retype it, the sentence would go like this:

Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo.

If I replace the place Buffalo with New York, the animal buffalo with bison and the verb buffalo with intimidate, put that where … (read more)

Metal Mouth

I just recently got braces – and they hurt so much. It’s not my teeth that hurt though, and it’s not because the braces are too tight. They’re just so uncomfortable that whenever I eat, I bite my mouth. When I chew on the right side of my mouth, I bite my right cheek. When I chew on the left side of my mouth, I still bite my right cheek. You can just imagine how much my right cheek hurts right now.

I actually had braces before. I had then on for my upper teeth though, and now they’re for my lower. The thing is, only the upper teeth needed to be fixed last time, and now my lower ones got ruined, so that sucks. I don’t remember them being this annoying though, so I guess I’ll just get used to it, eventually.

A Pair Of Chopsticks And An Orange

Today, for no reason I just suddenly wanted to try using Adobe Illustrator. I’m not much of a drawing person, not at all; I just wanted to try. So, this is my first drawing with Illustrator. It was just chopsticks and an orange, I couldn’t really think of anything to illustrate. The chopsticks are pretty much just straight lines, and the orange ended up looking like a bowl. Why did I use a pair of chopsticks and an orange? The chopsticks are kind of from an inside joke. The orange is from another inside joke. :)) This was pretty much just practice in using Adobe Illustrator. I did the basic illustration and coloring in Illustrator then later on did some extra editing in Photoshop. This was a very simple illustration, but I hope that in the future I can improve. I Guess It’s Open

I’m not even sure what this website is. I’m not sure what to put in it, I’m not sure what to do with it, and I’m not sure what it’s even supposed to be, but, basically, this is where you’ll find my photoshopping, my thoughts and other things.

I’ve been working on this for a while…I went halfway through making a few layouts for the website, not really liking any of them, and actually finished 3, and decided to use the one you’re seeing now. I kept changing my mind on what to put here, so I kept adding and removing posts. I tried to learn the basics of php, but I’m too lazy to actually learn it (maybe I’ll try some other time). I recalled what I taught myself before in HTML and CSS. If you didn’t notice, I was really bored.
